MEET YOUR GUIDE, ELIZABETH...
HOLISTIC Leadership COACH
Over 10 years ago a mentor suggested "the morning pages" to help me during a dark time at work, and it was a game changer.
Following the guidance of The Artist's Way helped me reconnect with my artistry, transition from consulting to pursue healing and creative arts, and bring clarity to both my life and business. It allowed me to find a harmonious balance between structure and flow, while confidently channeling new ideas, knowing they were coming from a deeper, authentic place.
I didn't consider myself an Artist when I started on this path.
This 12-week journey helped me heal years of overextending myself without pausing to check in. I discovered the balance between the masculine and feminine energies in both work and life, and cultivated a loving relationship with my inner critic. Through this process, I created more freedom to pursue passions outside of work, like crafting a home I adore, making candles, pottery, and blending oils, herbs, etc. My magic effortlessly came online.
A full and fulfilling life requires a deeper level of awareness to reveal our truth. We have the choice to engage in this (or any) practice, allowing us to see things more clearly and creatively, or we don’t. Every day presents an opportunity to make that choice.
Showing up for myself every morning and doing the morning pages has completely changed my life - starting at the root - my relationship with myself and honoring my intuition, experiences, thoughts, and feelings more deeply - with a compassionate lens to step out of the fear of being judged and leading with a pure heart as a loving witness to myself and others.
Welcome to your safe place to engage fully with art as an expression of life!
Let's Talk Modules
A breakdown of our first month together
MODULE 1
Recovering a Sense of Safety
Week one is about confronting and letting go of all the negative thoughts and beliefs that our inner artist has internalized due to external influences that have discouraged, criticized, or put down our creativity or thoughts around creativity. This could be a domineering parent, an over-critical art teacher, or a bully at school.
This is the week that we confront those old “monsters” or “enemies,” and we start the process of replacing that doubt, fear, criticism, humiliation, and sometimes even pain with positive memories and positive affirmations. It’s not an easy process, but it’s an important first step in the healing journey ahead of us.
Personally, I couldn’t have properly processed a lot of those blocks and negative feelings without the practice of morning pages.

MODULE 2
Recovering a Sense of Identity
This week we look at drawing new boundaries and avoiding poisonous playmates and crazymakers. Building a sense of personal identity is all about what's in the frame and what's left out. We are encouraged with self-definition as a major component of recovering our creative selves.
During this week, I was reminded of motivational speaker Jim Rohn’s famous claim that we are the average of the five people we spend the most time with. The people we surround ourselves with can either help us make progress or make our creative recovery even more challenging.
Warning: ‘Blocked friends may find your creative recovery disturbing.’
MODULE 3
Recovering a Sense of Power
This week, we cover anger, synchronicity, shame, and dealing with criticism. We look at anger and we start to listen to the wisdom of our anger and use rage as a map to translate the message that our emotions are giving us. We contend that anger is a “sign of health” in the blocked artist.
I love the quote, “Anger is our friend. Not a nice friend. Not a gentle friend. But a very, very loyal friend… It will always tell us when we have betrayed ourselves.” It invites us to take action.

MODULE 4
Recovering A Sense of Integrity
This week, we are taking on an exercise called Reading Deprivation, which is exactly what it means—no reading for the entire week. I know it sounds crazy, but the purpose of this exercise is to free our days from all the junk we fill them with and fill those moments with things that replenish our wells instead.
We specifically make it a practice of depriving ourselves of reading, but I think it might be helpful for us to take the exercise one step further and pinpoint the one distraction in your life that currently feels like the biggest one - the one that’s “poisoning your well.”
I'm ready to join!
