The Whisper That Changed Everything

In 2015, my Zen teacher told me something that would change my life forever:
"May your suffering be the catalyst for your awakening."
At the time, I was drowning in work—trapped in golden handcuffs, working 12-hour days, and deeply unfulfilled. On the outside, I had a “successful” career. But on the inside? I felt empty, disconnected, and completely out of alignment with my truth.
Every morning, I woke up with a pit in my stomach. I was exhausted, but I would pray and then push through. I told myself to be grateful—for the salary, the security, the prestige. For the nice car, the lovely home, gratitude, gratitude, gradutide, until I would gaslight myself into “what problem?”
Amid all the things I was grateful for, I knew deep down that something had to change. My life was out of alignment with my soul’s true essence and inner truth.
The Whisper That Changed Everything
In the middle of my burnout, frustration, and confusion, I heard the voice of the Holy Spirit whisper:
"Nothing is more important than your practices."
At first, it seemed absurd. How could my spiritual practices—yoga, meditation, breathwork, Kundalini—be more important than my job? Then my responsibilities? What about the safety and career I had spent years building?
And yet, I knew this wasn’t just my logical mind at play. It made no logical sense—how could I possibly pay rent by meditating and doing yoga all day? But this was the voice you learn to trust when your life becomes a living, breathing prayer. It’s something beyond logic—a higher power, speaking through the voice of divine wisdom.
So, I listened.
I started prioritizing my spiritual practices—not as an afterthought, nice to have, but as the foundation of my life. And as I deepened into them, something incredible happened:
I realized these weren’t just personal development tools. They were professional development.
For years, I had searched for clarity in strategies, mentors, and logical plans. But the real clarity came when I aligned my energy first.
And when I did that, everything shifted:
✨ My nervous system found balance, grounding me in calm.
✨ My clarity soared, empowering my decisions more rapidly.
✨ My intuition became a fierce, unshakable knowing.
✨ Exhaustion transformed into vibrant energy (+ I released my unhealthy addiction to coffee)
✨ Anxiety shifted into unwavering trust, rooting everything back to my personal why.
✨ Above all, I reconnected with myself—whole and powerful, embodying conviction and life’s purpose.
I didn’t realize it at the time, but these practices weren’t just helping me feel better.
They were preparing me for something more significant and what was coming next…
A professional U-turn that not everyone has the courage to make.
The Radical Leap: From Corporate to Spiritual Empowerment
As I continued to deepen my practice, one truth became undeniable:
I was called to share the work I was so deeply devoted to—my connection with the divine was undeniable. They say, 'When the student is ready, the teacher appears.' I studied under some of the best, observing with keen focus until the moment came when I felt the nudge to step out of the nest and begin teaching. Today, in addition to spiritual empowerment coaching, I teach four times a week here in LA, and I couldn’t be more fulfilled. There is nothing more important to me now than sharing these transformative practices.
The cosmic joke reveals itself when we realize that what we go through is exactly what we are meant to offer. We cannot guide others on a path we have not walked ourselves. I was called to help others find their professional alignment, using ancient wisdom and transformative practices. By blending leadership coaching, Feng Shui, mindfulness, somatic practices, and energetic transformation, I guide people to break free—just as I once did.
Leaving my high-paying corporate career to become a spiritual empowerment coach wasn’t a logical decision. It wasn’t something I mapped out on a spreadsheet.
It was a calling, a knowing, a full-body yes, an “I don’t want to be here if I can’t fully step into my purpose.”
None of this would have been possible without listening to that inner voice that wasn’t logical and staying unwaveringly committed and devoted to my practices as my purpose.
What This Means for You
If you’re feeling stuck, burnt out, or out of alignment in your career or life, I invite you to ask yourself:
🔹 What if the clarity I seek isn’t in my mind but my body and energy?
🔹 What if I stopped trying to “figure it out” looking outside myself and started only tuning inward?
🔹 What if my practices weren’t just self-care, but the foundation for the personal or professional transformation or change I seek?
If you’re waiting for a sign, maybe this is it.
Your practices matter.
Your energy matters.
Your alignment matters.
Your presence matters and this one wild and precious life matters.
Because when you shift your energy, you unlock infinite possibilities. Where all your dreams and desires are patiently waiting for you.
